Welders are being exposed to carcinogenic fumes, some at high levels, survey finds

ABC News has reported on a new study about welding and cancer risk published by the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Public Health.

"When Mark Hayward was an apprentice welder, no one seemed to care about the impact of welding fumes on his health. One time, he inhaled too many fumes after welding two pieces of galvanised steel, which is covered in zinc," ABC News reported.
